After four successful years as a customer service specialist for Visqueen high-flying Toni Record has stepped out of the office and into a new role as Technical Support Manager (TSM) for the Midlands.
As a TSM she is now out in the field holding design and detailing meetings with architects, specifiers and contractors across a region stretching from Shropshire to Lincolnshire, Derbyshire to Worcestershire.
Toni went onto say:
It’s a big step to come out of the office but I’ve a thirst for learning new things and the construction industry is so big, with many different parts to it, I find it fascinating.
Toni’s responsibilities include providing risk assessed solutions for structural waterproofing and gas protection, and supporting the on-site users with the Visqueen product range.
Another key function of her new position is to deliver Visqueen’s approved CPD presentations, including covering updates on changes to regulations. It’s a big change from her previous job as customer service team leader.
It was enjoyable and I liked the people I worked with but my long-term plan was for an external role, having built-up my technical knowledge and experience. It’s just come a bit quicker than I expected!
Before joining Visqueen Toni, from Belper, not far from Visqueen’s offices in Heanor, Derbyshire, was customer service specialist for Severn Trent Water for seven years, gaining valuable customer relationship and customer management experience.
